Information for speakers and poster presenters

Scientific presentations will be held either as oral presentation or by poster and will be given in English language  (conference language) or German language.

Information for speakers

If not stated otherwise, presentations will have the following durations:

  • For contributed talks a total of 15 minutes including discussion time and speaker change (12 min talk + 3 min discussion/speaker change) is allowed.
  • For invited talks a total of 30 minutes including discussion time and speaker change (25 min talk + 5 min discussion/speaker change) is allowed.
  • For plenary talks a total of 45 minutes without discussion time is allowed.

For further information on the length or language of the presentation, please contact the division to which you submitted the contributed talk or the person who invited you.

Information for presenters of posters

All poster presenters are asked to consider the following points in their presentation:

  • Each poster should be no larger than 90 cm x 120 cm (DIN A0, portrait).
  • The poster boards will be marked with the number according to the scientific programme.
  • Authors areasked to mount their poster before their session. Each poster should display the number according to the scientific programme. For the mounting of the poster please use the provided “power strips” at the poster frame or contact the available student staff.
  • The presenting authors should be at hand for discussion at their poster during at least half of the poster session and should note this time at the poster.
  • The posters have to be removed at the end of the session. Any posters remaining on display walls will be removed and disposed of without notice. 

The  conference  management  accepts  no liability for the posters.
